Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS)

PACS, or picture archiving and communication systems, are computers used to store, retrieve, distribute and present images to you and your physician. Once your images are digitally captured, they are saved to PACS. There is no manual filing or transporting of your reports and pictures. PACS provides a secured network for patient information, workstations for interpreting and reviewing images, and archiving. Picture archiving and communication systems enable Pavilion Imaging to deliver data quickly and efficiently.
