Compter aided detection (CAD) of breast cancer is now possible with our digital detective, the R2 Technologies Image Checker®. This computerized digital assistant helps our radiologists improve early detection of breast cancer abnormalities by 20%.

Each mammogram taken at Pavilion Imaging is sent through the R2 Image Checker®. R2 reads the images for the slightest irregularity, highlights it, and sends it on to our Board Certified Radiologists, who provide a closer examination to determine whether or not further investigation is needed.
